Port Blair, Dec. 22: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 464 passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 12 flights with 2102 passengers arrived, out of which, 1629 were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 473 passengers (includes 34 international travellers) and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, Dec. 22: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 5,88,626 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2,86,600 (approx.). A total of 612 people were vaccinated in South Andaman District today.
Member of Parliament Demands Bus Service from Attampahad to STS Bus Tterminus at Early Morning Hours

Port Blair, Dec. 21: Highlighting the problems of residents of Attampahad area, the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Director of Transport Department to provide bus service from Attampahad to STS Bus terminus at 5 AM daily. This is in addition to existing bus schedules to transport various categories of workers attending duties. Other than bus service, no private transportation like Autos and Jeeps are available from Attampahad to Port Blair (HQ) area.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: In a sad incident that happened in Little Andaman Island today, the Onge Tribal Chief, Tai breathed his last after having detained in the Primary Health Centre, Ramakrishnapur for more than ten days. He was around 60 years old and is survived by his wife.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) State President Mr. M.A Sajid has written a letter to JNRM Principal on Tuesday requesting him to re-evaluate the answer scripts of those students who failed at the semester examination held at JNRM.
