Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 25: A 5-day Capacity Building Training on E-Content Development for 50 participants from all nine educational zones organized by the State Institute of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram in collaboration with CIET-NCERT got underway today at Shiksha Sadan. The training was inaugurated by Shri S. Suresh Kumar, Deputy Director of Education (Planning) and State Project Officer, Samagra Shiksha. In his inaugural address, Shri Suresh Kumar underscored the critical role of digital content in transforming education by enhancing learning outcomes and addressing learning gaps.

Chouldari, Nov. 25: In a bold and decisive operation, the District Administration of South Andaman has struck a significant blow against unauthorized encroachments by demolishing an under-construction RCC building illegally occupying government revenue land in Chouldhari village. The operation, executed with precision using a Hitachi machine, has resulted in the reclamation of 0.02 hectares of prime land, now reinstated into government khata under Ferrargunj Tehsil.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 25: Three days Training on Programmatic Mapping and Population Size Estimation (PMPSE) for mapping HRGs ( Female Sex Workers, Men Having Sex with Men, Transgender/ Hijras) and Bridge Population ( Migrant Labours & Truckers) organized by A&N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) from 20th to 22nd November 2024 in the conference hall of Ayush Hospital, Junglighat, Sri Vijaya Puram for the official & staff of NGO Jan Lok Kalyan Parishad (JLKP) and ANACS under the Target Intervention training programme. Around 27 participants were benefitted from this training programme.

Bakultala, Nov. 25: ICAR- KVK, N&M Andaman organized a three days training program on “Integrated Farming System for Sustainable Agriculture” at Shyamkund village, Bakultala from 20th to 22nd November 2024.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Narayan Mondal Pradhan Bakultala Gram Panchayat, who encouraged farmers to adopt integrated farming systems to achieve economic and ecological benefits. He stressed the importance of working closely with agricultural experts and institutions to address challenges in farming and optimize resource utilization.
