Organized by the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) in collaboration with Living on the Edge (LOTE), the event once again redefined how chess can connect people beyond the traditional boundaries of the game.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 13: The third day of Free Prosthetic & Orthotic Camp was held at Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Brookshabad, imparting hope, mobility, and dignity to individuals with disabilities. Rotary Club, Sri Vijaya Puram, Mahaveer Seva Sadan, Kolkata, and CRC, A&N Islands are participating in this five-day humanitarian movement between April 10 & 14, 2025.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 13: The First Interaction Meet of members of ABTO, Andaman Chapter was held on, Saturday the 12th of April 2025 at Hotel Grillax, Bhatu Basti, Sri Vijaya Puram from - 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
The meeting was presided by Shri M. Vinod, Chapter Head, ABTO Andaman and Lakshadweep. Around 40 members of ABTO attended the meeting.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 13: The Andaman & Nicobar Fire & Emergency Services, in line with its rich tradition of service and sacrifice, will be observing Fire Service Week from 14th to 20th April, 2025, alongside the rest of the nation. The observance will commence with the 70th Fire Service Day on 14th April, to pay homage in memory of the brave firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty and to promote awareness about fire safety among the public. This annual observance is held across the nation to commemorate the tragic incident at the Bombay Dock Explosion on 14th April 1944, where numerous fire personnel made the supreme sacrifice while combating fire and explosions caused by the blast.
