Port Blair, July 13: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has newly launched Six Months Certificate, One year Diploma & PG Diploma, three years Under Graduate and two years Post Graduate programmes. The following are the newly launched programmes:-

Port Blair, July 12: The Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs under the leadership of Secretary (RD) has taken the initiative of planting fruit-bearing saplings in the building campus of all CD Blocks and Gram Panchayats of this UT. Under the initiative, over 400 fruit-bearing saplings of Mangoes, Guavas, Oranges, Lemon, Jack Fruit, Tamarind, Sweet Apple, Coconut, Cashew Nut etc. were planted in a week across rural areas as well as in the building campus of different offices working under the Department of RD, PRIs & ULBs.

Port Blair, July 12: The Rotary Club of Port Blair held its 39th Installation Ceremony virtually on Sunday, 12th of July where the outgoing President, Rotarian Faisal Jadwet handed over the charge to the incoming President Rotarian Diwarkar Moorthy and his team, inclusive of Secretary Rotarian Nalin Gulecha and Treasurer Rotarian Sanjay Pandey.
