Port Blair, May 2: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 201 passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 16 flights with 2654passengers arrived, out of which, 2381passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 218passengers and the reports are awaited.

INTER ISLAND SECTOR:

MV Bharat Seema will sail for Car Nicobar on 03.05.2022 (Tue) at 0900 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 04.05.2022 (Wed) at 1600 Hrs from Car Nicobar.

LITTLE ANDAMAN SECTOR:

MV Kalighat will sail for Little Andaman on 04.05.2022 (Wed) at 2000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 05.05.2022 (Thu) at 0800 Hrs from Little Andaman.

MV Bharat Seema will sail for Little Andaman on 07.05.2022 (Sat) at 2000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 08.05.2022 (Sun) at 0800 Hrs from Little Andaman.

Port Blair, May 2: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,76,459beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,438beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 11,829beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 20105. 

Port Blair, May 1: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary A&N Administration to schedule helicopter service for Shaheed Dweep atleast twice a week and to give adequate publicity regarding this so that people of Shaheed Dweep and tourists can make use of such service.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament mentioned that a large number of residents of Shaheed Dweep (erstwhile Neil Island) have approached him with a demand to resume helicopter service between Port Blair and Shaheed Dweep.
