Car Nicobar, July 7: A Multi-Disciplinary Health Camp (Allopathy, Dental & Ayurveda) was conducted yesterday at Big Lapathy Community Hall, Car Nicobar in collaboration with IAF, Car Nicobar Station for the villagers of Big Lapathy, Small Lapathy, Mus, Kinmai and Tapoiming villages.

Port Blair, July 7: The Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) & Police Department will be organizing 1st in the series of 100 awareness programmes at Model Sr. Sec School, Port Blair on 10th July, 2023 at 10 am on ‘Ill effects of Alcohol and Drug Abuse’ to sensitize the children on the peril of addiction and illicit drug trafficking under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan campaign.

Rangat, July 7: As part of 74th Van Mahotsav celebration, 2023, the Middle Andaman, Forest Division organized a Mini Marathon event open to all under the theme ‘Nurture The Nature, Save Your Nature’ today which was flagged off by Ms Sita Majhi, Pramukh, Panchayat Samati, Rangat from Forest Check Post Rangat to Divisional Forest Office, Hawamahal, Middle Andaman via Parnashala Forest Nursery covering a distance of 7 km.

Port Blair, July 7: In continuation of the Vacancy Notice published in the Daily Telegrams by the Directorate of IP&T on 28.04.2023 for the post of Assistant Manager and News Reporters, the date of written examination was scheduled on 09.07.2023 and 06.08.2023. Due to administrative reasons, the candidates have been informed that the date of written examination for both the posts has been rescheduled and will now be held on 13.08.2023 (Sunday) in different shifts.
