In mid-January, an American national suffered a pelvic fracture due to a road accident in Swaraj Dweep (formerly Havelock Island). The medical team in Swaraj Dweep provided immediate care before transferring the patient to ANIIMS, Sri Vijaya Puram (formerly Port Blair), where the orthopedic team, led by Dr. Vishnu, ensured specialized treatment.
