Port Blair, Nov. 6: The Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) conducted a joint services exercise code named ‘Bull Strike’, involving the three Services components of ANC, elements of Independent Parachute Brigade, MARCOS and Special Forces from 03rd to 07th Nov 2020 at the remotely located Teressa Island in the strategically important Nicobar Group of Islands. The exercise was carried out to validate and rehearse operational plans and contingencies in a realistic tactical setting under the overall command and control of Andaman and Nicobar Command, the only joint services operational command of the defence forces of the India.

Port Blair, Nov. 6: The Pradesh Congress Committee, Andaman & Nicobar Islands under the leadership of Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC following the directions of AICC, New Delhi has organised Satyagraha and Upwaas programmes to observe “Kisan Adhikar Diwas” at Tushnabad junction and Wimberlygunj junction in South Andaman district on 31.10.2020 in a peaceful manner after following the COVID-19 guidelines/protocol. Party workers which includes senior leaders, farmers and farm labourers, shop keepers, whole sale market, sundry employees from different places attended the programme to protest against the three Agriculture Bills passed by the NDA Government demanding the withdrawal of the Anti-Agriculture and Farm Bill which is against the interest of the crores of farmers and agriculture labourers in the country including A&N Islands.
