ANACS Felicitates Regular Blood Donors
Port Blair, June 14: World Blood Donor Day 2020 was observed today at the GB Pant Hospital in the blood bank (blood centre) arena.
A brief programme was organized to honor the devoted and committed voluntary blood donors. The programme was arranged by maintaining all the protocols of COVID-19 scenario.

Port Blair, June 12: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to arrange two convoys daily i.e. one in the morning and another in the evening for both ways instead of existing one convoy for movement of vehicles in the Andaman Trunk Road (Jarawa Reserve Area).

Port Blair, June 12: Many vehicle owners in A&N Islands are using dazzling /powerful or intense lighting their vehicles. The section 111 (4) ANMVR prohibits the usage of dazzling /powerful or intense light at all times, when the lights of the motor vehicle are in use. In addition, it has also been found that most of the vehicles are not equipped with rear view mirror. As per section 125 (2) CMVR, 1989 all the motor vehicles shall be equipped with rear view mirror.
