Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 9:  The District Administration, South Andaman organized a Revenue Camp Court at Gram Panchayat, Hope Town, aimed at addressing the grievances of local residents. The Camp Court was chaired by Shri Arjun Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner South Andaman, and was attended by Ms Mariyam Bibi, Zilla Parishad member, Ms Rasheeda, Pradhan, Hopetown and Pradhan, Mannarghat, Panchayat Samiti members and other PRI members.

The Poultry Development Program has been highly successful in the Islands, with commercial farming becoming independent and self-sustained. Backyard poultry farming is particularly popular, and egg and meat production in the Islands exceeds the national average.

Dr Kalyan P Kadbhane Deputy Director Ayush and Dr Nandini from Ayush Hospital were the resource person. Swami Shuddhananda Saraswati, Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission and Dr CH Hemanta Rao, President, International Naturopathy Organization and Shri Manohar Singh, President Chinmaya Vanprasth Sansthan, were also present on the occasion.
