Deepawali is a festival of light, joy and happiness. However, this happy occasion is not always celebrated with due caution and at times, it turns into a festival of noise and fire hazard. It is necessary that this festival is celebrated taking all precautions with a view to minimize pollution, fire hazard and accidents.

I extend my warmest wishes to the people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for a very happy Deepavali. This auspicious occasion symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.

Deepavali is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the rich cultural heritage that binds us together as a community. Our islands, with their breathtaking beauty and diverse traditions, reflect the essence of unity in diversity. Just as the lights of Deepavali illuminate our homes, may they also light the path to a brighter and more prosperous future for every resident.

On the auspicious occasion of ‘Deepawali', I convey my warmest greetings to all the residents of A&N Islands.

This festival symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood, virtue over vice, and light over darkness. I hope that this celebration will strengthen the spirit of mutual harmony and brotherhood among the Islanders. Let us resolve to light lamps of joy and enthusiasm, and lead our Islands towards progress and prosperity.

On this auspicious occasion of Deepavali, the Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Shri Rangalal Halder, extends warm wishes to all Islanders.

May this festival of lights bring joy, prosperity, and harmony to every household and illuminate our lives with peace and hope for a brighter future. Let's celebrate this Diwali with a renewed spirit of togetherness and compassion, supporting each other and working toward the betterment of our Society.

Wishing everyone a joyous Deepavali.

With Regards,

Rangalal Halder
