Since no stage performances could be organized till 01.01.2025 due to National Mourning, the local artists were unable to showcase their talent. Representations have been received from various stakeholders regarding allowing stalls to operate for a further period beyond 31st December, 2024, as the cancellation of stage performances in view of National Mourning has resulted in low footfall of visitors to their stalls, which has adversely affected their businesses.
