Port Blair, April 10: The passengers/general public have been informed that, due to administrative reasons, the vessel Nalanda will now sail for Swaraj Dweep on 11.04.2024 at 0700 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on the same day at 1000 hrs from Swaraj Dweep in place of MV Baratang.

Port Blair, April 10: The passengers/general public have been informed that, due to administrative reasons, the announced schedule of MV Chouldari for Rangat via Shaheed Dweep, Swaraj Dweep, Strait Island & Long Island on 13.04.2024 and her return voyage from Rangat to Port Blair via same route has been cancelled.

Port Blair, April 10: Power supply will remain suspended at Shoal Bay- Ferrargunj Feeder: Tanki Pahad, Kanyapuram village, Wimberlygunj to Ferrargunj to Ferrargunj, Ferrargunj to Jirkatang, Ferrargunj to Ram Nagar & Wimberlygunj to Shoalbay-19 on April 13 in connection with line clearance and maintenance of T&D system in Shoalbay and Ferrergunj Feeder.

Port Blair, April 9: Since the moon has not been sighted in these Islands today, the Andaman & Nicobar Hilal Committee in its meeting has unanimously decided that ‘Eid-ul-fitr’ will be celebrated in these Islands on 11th  April 2024.
