Port Blair, March 18: The vaccination for elderly who are 60 years and above & people of age group between 45-59 years with comorbid conditions are administered vaccines at various places in A&N Islands viz JNRM, Port Blair, CHC Bambooflat, PHC Baratang, CHC Rangat, PHC Billiground, Dr RP Hospital Mayabunder, CHC Diglipur, PHC Swarajdweep, PHC Shahid Dweep, PHC Hutbay, BJR Hospital, Car Nicobar, CHC Nancowry and PHC Campbellbay. The general public is hereby appealed that those who are eligible for the vaccination may take the vaccine immediately in the nearest center. Those who fall under category of 45-59 years comorbid conditions may have to produce the certificate in format from a govt doctor or a Registered Medical Practitioner to get the vaccine. This is applicable for twenty given medical conditions only. All are requested to enroll themselves on selfregistration.cowin.gov.in or even in Arogyasetu app in their smart phone. The timing for vaccination will be 9.30 Am to 5.00 PM on working days except Wednesdays. All are requested to ensure to bring Adhaar Card along with them while getting vaccinated.

Port Blair, March 18: Andaman & Nicobar Islands UTGST Department conducted search and seizure operation in Bamboo Flat on a trader of hardware and FMCG goods. During Search and Inspection, it was found that this firm is engaged in clandestine removal of goods with an intention to evade tax and indulged in other evasion prone activities varying from wrong availment of Input Tax Credit; Non-payment of tax to the government; and mis-declaration in different statutory documents.
