Port Blair, Dec. 16: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) celebrated the 51st anniversary of Bangladesh Liberation War 1971 during a simple yet impressive function held at Gandhi Bhawan here on Thursday. The function was organized under the chairmanship of ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Shri. G Bhasker and DCC President Shri. V.K Abdul Aziz. They paid homage to the 4,000 soldiers killed in the battle and the winners of 513 Vir Chakra, 77 Mahavir Chakra and 4 Param Vir Chakra.

Port Blair, Dec. 16: The category-wise and subject-wise provisional list of candidates applied for admission to Two Years B.Ed. Degree Programme for the session 2021-22 in Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair will be published online on 21st December 2021 and will be available at http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in under “Announcements” for inspection and verification. The last date for submission of claims and objection is 23 Dec21.

Port Blair, Dec. 16: The Central Executive Committee meeting of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association held recently at Port Blair expressed concern over the delay in promotion of AC Cadre employees under A & N Administration. The meeting also discussed various other issues pertaining to the Education Department like declaration of Summer Vacation for schools, leave related issues and various anomalies in the seniority list published recently without proper updation. It was decided to augment the activities of the Association in coming days.
