Port Blair, Feb 2: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman Nicobar Islands has deeply mourned the sad demise of Smti. Bathini Papamma (age 70 years), Mother of Shri B Eswar Rao, Ex- Chairperson of Port Blair Municipal Council R/o Dairy Farm who passed away at her residence on 02.02.2023.  He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Feb 2: A story telling session for children is being organised by Bageecha – an Initiative of Andaman Chronicle on Saturday, 4th February 2023 at 6.00 pm. The session will be conducted by Shri Chanchal Singha Roy.

Chanchal Singha Roy is a National Awardee Teacher and the Founder of ‘Coastal Green Zone’, a voluntary run initiative for conservation and protection of coastal ecosystems. He is also story teller and an abstract art worker.

The story telling session will be conducted at Bageecha, Libra Cottage, Brichgunj Chowk, Port Blair and is free of cost. The aim is to encourage children’s participation is creative things, which is outside the school syllabuses.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has condoled the sad demise of Smt. B. Papamma, aged 67 years, mother of Shri B. Eswar Rao, Ex-Chairperson, PBMC, R/o Dairy Farm, Campbell Bay, who expired today at 06.30 AM at his residence. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty to give peace to her eternal soul departed for heavenly abode and give strength to her bereaved family member to bear this irreparable loss.
