Port Blair, July 20: The District Magistrate, South Andaman, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS through an Order No. 900 has extended the Lockdown being imposed in the District. This week, more relaxation in timings (from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm) comes as great relief to the people of the district. The Order will come into effect from 21^st July 2021 for a week upto 27^th July 2021.

Port Blair, July 20: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 2, 62,687 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 4430 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands. A total of 70,929 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date.

In its live programme ‘Sewa- A way of life’, NDTV focused on the selfless services being rendered by the Sikh Community across the globe, reaching out to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands where the Sikh community through the NGO has been doing exemplary service for the people of the islands.
