Port Blair, July 19: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for early settlement of pension cases of retired Govt. servants of various departments in the A&N Administration, which are pending for couple of months since their retirement. He reiterated that some of the pensioners are wholly depending on pension to meet their daily needs especially the Group ‘C’ employees.

Port Blair, July 19: The free wifi service started at Mannarghat where Shri A R Jabir (Ex Samiti Member, Manarghar GP), Shri Deva Kumar (Ex Zilla Parishad, Member Manarghat GP), Shri A P Naufali (Ex Up Pradhan, Mannarghat GP) and villagers present. The Wifi donated by Shri P Ummer (PHT) was inaugurated on 16/07/2021 at P Yusuf Store, Malapuram.

Port Blair, July 19: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 2, 58, 257 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 3525 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands. A total of 68,536 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date.
