Port Blair, Feb 25: In light of the outbreak of a new variant of COVID-19 with higher infection potential, the country is witnessing a surge in the number of patients, which is expected to get translated into increase in BWM generation from Health care facilities as well as Quarantine Centers/ domestic areas. To keep a track on COVID-19 BWM generation and to manage BWM waste, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has developed an App named ‘COVID19BWM’. It has also prepared following technical guidelines for environmentally sound management of BWM and enhancing capabilities of CBWTFs:

Port Blair, Feb 25: The Local Centre of the Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya proposes to organize a special program on the eve of Shivratri on 28th February, 1st & 2nd March 2022 from 6 to 8 am and from 4 to 8 pm at the Rajyoga Centre 2nd floor, Bird line junction, Calicut, Port Blair.   This program shall feature replica of big Jothirlingam and the divine significance of Shiv Ratri. There will be a Rajyoga Exhibition, in addition to a short session on Rajayoga Meditation.
