Port Blair, May 6: The Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, BMS had planned to organize a Mass Protest Rally on 07.05.2022 from State BMS Office, Near Krishna Mandir, Junglighat at 3.00 PM to Tiranga Park. The protest has now been postponed due to the IMD warning on inclement weather forecast. Fresh dates will be declared later on.

Port Blair, May 6: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,77,284 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,438 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 11,915 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 20894. 

Port Blair, May 6: During RAT conducted on 61 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, one positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 45 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 66 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected, At Helipad, 2 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.
