Port Blair, July 27: Keeping its commitment of tough action against illegal activities, on 26/07/2020 a team comprising Inspector Mahesh Kumar Yadav, SHO PS CCS, Head Constable Lokeshwar Rao, Constable P. K. Mondal and Hari Krishna Yadav while on patrolling at Junglighat near Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam, noticed one person trying to conceal some bottles in the bushes. On suspicion, that person was intercepted on the spot and on checking the team recovered 202 bottles of Company Sealed Indian Made Foreign Liquors (IMFL) from him. In this connection accused S. Mohan Rao S/o Shri S. Babu Rao R/o Dairy Farm was arrested and a case under excise Regulations was registered against him. The raid was supervised by Sh. Jagdev Singh Yadav, Dy.SP (CID) under the overall command and supervision of Shri Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, SP(CID).
