Guptapara, Oct. 4: On the celebration of “National Voluntary Blood Donation Day” 2024, A & N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) along with Blood Centre, G.B. Pant Hospital, Directorate of Health Services, supported Nityananda Seva Sangh to conduct a voluntary blood donation camp on 1st October 2024 at Krishna Mandir Hall, Guptapara village, near Sitanagar Junction. A total of 36 units of blood were donated by the students, staffs and voluntary donors.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 4: The sailing programme of the cargo vessel MV Chuglam has been revised. The vessel MV Chuglam will now sail for Katchal via Car Nicobar, Chowra & Teressa on Oct. 6, 2024 at 1600 hrs from Haddo/Chatham Jetty and will sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports. Booking of cargo for the above sailing will commence from Oct. 5, 2024 onwards between 0900 hrs & 1200 hrs at Commercial Wing.
