Port Blair, April 5: A lady named Anisa Bibi residing at Rangachang survived by two very young kids had approached Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi requesting for help to make a living for her family.

She did not have any support of her in-laws, family members but expressed that she is ready to work in any circumstances. She has plans to open up a small poultry farm in front of her kacha house at Rangachang for which she needed financial assistance.

Port Blair, April 5: Improving the service delivery system to the citizen as per their need has always been the priority for Transport Department. In this regard, department implemented Vahan 4.0 application for various online services as per the guidelines of Ministry of Road Transport & Highway and towards the goal of Digital India which enabled users to Book Fancy/Choice Number and payment of Road Tax online from the comfort of their homes. In another step the following more online services have been made available in the application:-

This will be followed by Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty wind with speed reaching 30 to 40 Kmph likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands from 1st April – 2nd April 2021.

Port Blair, April 1: With the arrest of 02 accused from Delhi, A&N Police has achieved major success in unearthing the entire chain of the online recruitment scam for the post of Navik, Indian Coast Guard (ICG). They are mastermind behind hacking the system and compromising the online recruitment examination.

Accused Rohit, age 24 yrs is technical expert and has done B. Tech. He is operating the Genius Infotech Solution Center in Delhi and responsible for remotely accessing the computer system of Port Blair at his end. His associate Satyawan S/o Budh Singh Malik, age 44 yrs, owner of Rosewood Computers is also arrested. They were among the prime accused who remotely accessed the computer system, solved the question paper and uploaded through remote server. From their possession, several incriminating evidences including laptop have been recovered.

Port Blair, April 1: Andaman & Nicobar Islands UTGST Department conducted search and seizure operation in Goalghar on a Works Contract and Construction service provider. During Search and Inspection, it was found that this firm is a huge tax defaulter and are indulged in several tax-evasion activities varying from wrong availment of Input Tax Credit, Non-payment of tax to the government, non-filing/delayed filing of the mandatory statutory returns and mis-declaration in statutory returns.
