Warns Establishments to Avoid Malpractices and Irregularities
Port Blair, Dec. 8: Continuing its drive to inspect Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 registered under the District Registering Authority (SA), a team of officials conducted inspections at few more medical and clinical establishments operating in South Andaman District.
The team constituted in this connection made checks at all the establishments and actions against the findings and shortcomings will be initiated in due course. Further inspections on all such establishments functioning in South Andaman will be carried out in the coming days.
The District Registering Authority has warned the establishments to avoid malpractices and if any irregularities are found the same will be dealt with sternly. The General Public is requested to come forward and report any such over 1077/240127.

Port Blair, Dec. 8: National Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party and Prabhari of BJP, A&N Islands, Shri Y Satya Kumar arrived on a two day visit to the Islands today. Port Blair, Dec. 8: The Food Safety Department in its continuous efforts to ensure the availability of safe, wholesome and hygienic food to the Islanders have tied up with a mainland based NABL accredited and FSSAI notified laboratory for analyzing food samples of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Port Blair, Dec. 8: The Hon’ble Minister of State for Home, Shri Nityanand Rai will be arriving here tomorrow (Dec. 9) on a 4-day visit to the Islands. Soon after arrival, the Minister will visit National Memorial Cellular Jail and Flag Point. The Minister will visit COVID Care Center at DBRAIT, Dollygunj on Dec. 10. He is also scheduled to visit Shaheed Dweep and Swaraj Dweep and inspect the tourism project sites and Blue Flag Certified Beach on the same day.
