Member of Parliament Introduces Bill in Parliament to Grant Status of a Union Territory with Legislature
Port Blair, Dec 7: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 3rd December 2021 introduced a comprehensive private members bill to amend the Constitution of India and add Article 239C, which will provide for special provisions for Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Mohammed Zubair (President, City Congress Committee, Shri. M.A. Sajid, State President NSUI and other senior leaders.

Port Blair, Dec. 7: Members of Rajya Sainik Board along with Secretary Col. DS Godara (Retd) called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day for Flag Pinning Ceremony. A cheque of Rs. 15,000/- was also handed over to the Board by HLG, as Andaman & Nicobar Administration’s contribution.

Washington, Dec 7: U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) today announced it approved up to $500 million of debt financing for First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FLSR), the largest American solar manufacturing company, subject to negotiations of definitive agreements. The DFC financing will support the company’s previously announced vertically integrated photovoltaic (PV) solar module manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, India, with a projected annual capacity of 3.3 gigawatts (GW).
