Sri Vijaya Puram, March 19: The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) vehemently condemns the Israeli air strikes on Gaza which have killed over 400 people, mostly women and children in a single day.  By this criminal aggression, Israel has signaled it is backing out from the second phase of the ceasefire which would have brought peace and an end to hostilities.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 19: IGNOU has proposed to conduct Term-End Exam (TEE) from 02nd June 2025 onwards. The online link for submission of the Examination form for Term-End Examination June, 2025 session is open now. 

For the convenience of learners, Regional Centre Port Blair has proposed to conduct TEE June, 2025 exam at 8 centres i.e. JNRM, Hut Bay, Car Nicobar, Kamorta, Campbell Bay, Diglipur, Rangat and Mayabunder. The examination form shall be submitted through the Student Portal on the Samarth Platform.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member of BJP and Former State President of BJP-Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Shri R.R. Shenoy Ji, a resident of Bird Line, Prothrapur and a founding member of BJP Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Shri Shenoy Ji passed away today, 19th March 2025, at Apollo Hospital, Garacharma.

Shri M. Vinod, State Vice President, BJP, A&N Islands has deeply mourned the sudden demise of  Shri R.R. Shenoy, aged 71 years, Ex.Up -Pramukh, Panchayat Samity, Port Blair, R/o  Bird Line who breathed his last today morning (19/03/2025).

Shri Vinod has prayed to Almighty to give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 18: The Dweep Agro-Eco Walk, an agro-eco-tourism initiative of ICAR-CIARI and its KVKs was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, today in the presence of Ms. Pallavi Sarkar, IAS, Secretary (Agriculture & Animal Husbandry) at Horticulture Farm in Sippighat and also the two-day Kisan Mela-cum-Exhibition at Garacharma Farm being held at the Mela ground within Garacharma Research Complex. The Chief Secretary and Secretary (Agriculture) also planted coffee saplings at the Horticulture Farm in Sippighat.
