Port Blair, Oct. 17: The category-wise final merit list of candidates who have applied for admission to various Undergraduate Courses in JNRM, Port Blair for the Academic Session 2022-23 has been uploaded duly attending all the claims and objections in the Common College Admission Portal (CCAP) website (https://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in).

Port Blair, Oct. 17: All concerned candidates have been informed that the Assistant Registrar, Directorate of Admissions, University of Calicut has informed that the University of Calicut has reserved one seat each in all UG & PG programmes, additional created and reserved over and above the sanctioned strength in the affiliated Arts and Science Colleges under this University, but within the Statutory maximum limit for the native students of the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands for the academic session 2022-23. The closing date for admission for Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes in the affiliated colleges under University is Oct. 28, 2022.

Port Blair, Oct. 17: Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Oct. 18, 19, 20 & 21. Due to squally weather, wind speed exceeding 45 kmph is likely to prevail over Andaman Sea along & off Andaman and Nicobar coasts. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea from Oct.18 till further order.

Port Blair, Oct. 17: The General Body meeting of the ASNVMS was held at Port Blair on 15.10.2022. Hundreds of workers from various Divisions of APWD at Port Blair attended the meeting which was presided over by Shri B. Chandrachoodan, President of the Union. 

Port Blair, Oct. 17: No COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands. Today, 14 flights with 2184 passengers arrived, out of which,1987 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on145 passengers and the reports are awaited.
