Port Blair, May 25: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has identified Radhanagar Beach in Swaraj Dweep for Blue Flag Certification as Pilot beach in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

For the last two seasons i.e 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 the beach has fulfilled all the stringent criteria as prescribed for the certification. Based on the rigorous efforts of the Administration, the Radhanagar beach has retained the Blue Flag Certification.

Port Blair, May 25: Smti Bulbul Mistry, Member CBFC Advisory Panel and National Executive Member of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has been conferred with the ‘Nari Shakti Icon Achiever Award 2022. Smti Mistry is a resident of Sitanagar, Diglipur. The award was presented to Smti Bulbul at New Delhi on 24th May 2022 at a function organised by the Dada Saheb Phalke Icon Award Films, managed by the Trustee Founder and Chairman, Shri Kalyanji Jana at Hotel Holiday Inn, New Delhi.
