Demand: To replace the power generator set of PHC which remains under repair since 3 years
Port Blair, July 30: During the times of ongoing pandemic crisis, when the states and UTs of our nation are doing their best to provide better health care and facilities to the citizens, it is shocking to note that the residents of Tushnabad and nearby panchayats have been pleading for a basic ‘generator set’ for the Primary Health Centre. It is learnt that the Primary Health Centre, Tushnabad has been functioning without a generator set since the last three years, with no authority to even consider the genuine plea of the residents.

The earlier city office of the daily at foreshore road, Phoenix Bay has now been closed. Port Blair, July 30: The Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Island, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration to reduce the quarantine period for incoming passengers in Swaraj Dweep, Shaheed Dweep and Little Andaman Islands to only 3 days from existing 10 days.
In a letter mailed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament pointed out that for containing the spread of virus, previously the Quarantine period for all incoming passengers to Swaraj Dweep, Shaheed Dweep and Little Andaman Islands was fixed to 10 days.
