Port Blair, April 19: In a commendable effort to uphold democratic values, the Andaman and Nicobar Police have actively encouraged maximum participation of their personnel polling in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election. Despite logistical challenges due to the geographical remoteness of certain islands in the archipelago, the A&N Police have successfully organized the voting process for their personnel deployed in these areas.

Sivagnanam, Chief Justice, High Court at Calcutta in the august presence of Hon'ble Justice Shampa Sarkar, Hon'ble Justice Amrita Sinha and Hon'ble Justice Krishna Rao today in the presence of the Registrar, Circuit Bench of Calcutta High Court at Port Blair, Learned District and Sessions Judge, other Judicial Officers, members of the Bar and the members of staff dedicating the facility to the Judiciary of A&N Islands.

Port Blair, April 18: All arrangements have been completed by the Election Machinery for the Lok Sabha Poll -2024 in A&N Islands. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Constituency is going to Polls in the first phase of Election and Polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm tomorrow (April 19), informed the Chief Electoral Officer, A&N Islands Parliamentary Constituency, Shri B. S. Jaglan, IAS while interacting with the mediapersons in the conference hall of Secretariat here today. The CEO also appealed to all the eligible voters to participate in the democratic process celebrating the ‘Election Festival’ with the tagline ‘Chunav Ka Parv- Desh Ka Garv’.
