Port Blair, June 23: The general public have been informed that all households and establishments under the jurisdiction of Port Blair city have to pay a user fee every month towards the waste picked up from their door step. The user charges shall be collected as per the Schedule-III of PBMC’s SWM Bye-laws, 2017 notified by the A&N Administration Gazette vide No. 21/2017/F.No. 3-53/2015-UD-II, dated 16th February, 2017.

Port Blair, June 23: In compliance to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways letter dated 20.02.2023 and Sub Rules 1 to 4 of Rule 11 of CMVR, 1989 which mandates every applicant to complete a tutorial on safe driving electronically in order to obtain Learner’s License. It has been observed that the LL test process has been delayed due to the time taken by the candidates for watching the tutorial video at the time of appearing LL test. 

Port Blair, June 23: Due to administrative reasons, the vessel MV Sindhu will sail for Little Andaman on June 24 at 2100 hrs from Haddo Wharf instead of June 26 at 2100 hrs. Similarly, MV Sindhu will sail back to Port Blair on June 25 at 0900 hrs instead of June 27 at 0900 hrs from Little Andaman.

Port Blair, June 23: As   per   the   direction   of   Gol    for   ensuring transparency of information sharing and maintaining of database all societies/ associations / Youth Clubs/ NGOs/ Temple Committees / Mahila Mandals / Churches  /   Mosques / Schools registered  under  Society  Registration  Act 1860 of South Andaman District have been directed to submit the required  details viz. Annual Audit reports, Details of PAN of the Society, Bank Account No. of the Society, list of the Present office bearers as well as other members of the society with their address, Aadhaar No., Phone No. and e-mail ID if any to the District Office within 30 days.
