Port Blair, Feb 28: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee has intensified its campaigning in all Municipal Wards, focusing more on door-to-door campaigning, small public meetings and road shows.

On Sunday, the ANTCC President, Rangalal Halder kicked off door-to-door campaign and road show at Ward No. 11 and Ward no. 13.

The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has deeply mourned the sad demise of Pir Baksh, Retd. Foreman of Electricity Department, S/o Late Khuda Baksh, age 84  years, R/o Round Basthi, Port Blair who passed away on 27.02.2022. He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Feb 28: An auction notice of the seized case properties of MZI Act/Foreigners Act 1946 of Police Station Mayabunder which was scheduled on 22/02/2022 at PS Mayabunder has been postponed due to administrative reason. Now, the standing committee has again fixed new date for auction on 21/03/2022 at OP Rest Camp, Mayabunder. All participants are requested to be present on 21/03/2022 at OP Rest Camp at 1000 hrs. without fail.

Port Blair, Feb 28: INTACH India will be organising a poster and write-up competition for school students of Class 7 to 9. The INTACH A&N Chapter has called upon the students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to participate in this endeavour. Last time Kendriya Vidyalaya II, Port Blair was adjudged as the Regional Winners.

The President, Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee, Shri Rangalal Halder has greeted the people of A&N Islands on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

Halder said this festival symbolises the values of piety, devotion, brotherhood and harmony, which are the hallmarks of our glorious cultural ethos.
