Port Blair, Dec. 1: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to direct the NHIDCL to complete the ATR up-gradation and repair works during the dry spell between December 2021 to April 2022 in full swing, so that before 2022 monsoon the Andaman Trunk Road becomes fit for all kind of transport.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: Due to prevailing inclement weather conditions, considering the safety of the passengers and the vessel, the announced sailing programme on all sectors on 2nd and 3rd Dec. 2021 may get disrupted leading to suspension or cancellations. The sailings will be reviewed/ confirmed 02 hours prior to the sailing of the vessel. Passengers and tourists have been advised to plan their journey suitably to avoid any inconvenience.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: A total of 5,54,860 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2,81,603 (approx.). A total of 1,75,862 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 1346 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.
