Port Blair, Aug 8: On 08/08/2022, the Passing Out Parade Ceremony of the 73rd Batch of Recruit Constables comprising of 07 Constables who were appointed on Compassionate Ground was held at the Drill Hall of Police Training School, Prothrapur. Shri. Sanjay Kumar Jain, IPS, Inspector General of Police (Law & Order) presided over the function as Chief Guest and took salute from the contingent.

Port Blair, Aug 8: The India Reserve Battalion, A&N Islands has organized a mass tree plantation drive as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at IRBn HQ premises on 08.08.2022. The drive was inaugurated by Shri S.K Jain, IPS, IGP (L&O), A&N Islands by planting fruit bearing trees.
