Diglipur, Oct. 8: “Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani” was organized today at Cluster Resource Center- Government Model Senior Secondary School Sitanagar. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Executive Engineer, APWD Shri Manu Thomas, while Deputy Education Officer Mrs Sulochana, Zila Parishad Member Shri Niranjan Haldar, and Panchayat Pradhan Shri Biplab Mondal were present as the Guests of Honour. Welcoming the guests, Principal Shri Balbir Singh said that this exhibition is being organized under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan through Samagra Shiksha. He said that under the Abhiyan, children are given financial assistance and a conducive environment to shape their imagination in science and prepare their working models without any hassle.

Hashmatabad, Oct. 9: The Child Helpline-1098 organized an awareness program at Anganwadi Centre, Hashmatabad, recently to create awareness about the services provided by the Child Helpline-1098 and the WCD Control Room at VIP Road, Sri Vijaya Puram. During the event, mothers and children were enlightened about the critical services provided by the Child Helpline 1098. Dr. Nitin Shakya, Director of Social Welfare, emphasized the necessity of timely and adequate assistance for children, highlighting the role of society in being vigilant and responsive. The Child Helpline 1098 is a significant step towards creating a safer environment for every child.

It is a great opportunity to showcase the intrinsic skills of Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the field of handicrafts by depicting the valuable art and artifacts of these Islands.
