Swaraj Dweep, Sept. 11: The Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Swaraj Dweep organized a two day GST Awareness-cum-Registration Workshop on Sept. 9 & 10, 2024 at Swaraj Dweep for the Companies of Water Sports Activities. The awareness program was conducted by Shri Anupam Neeraj and Shri Santosh Kumar, Superintendent GST from UTGST Andaman and Nicobar Islands and was addressed by Shri Vikram Singh, Assistant Commissioner, Swaraj Dweep. IP&T in-charge, Shri Shiva, coordinated with the Water Sports Activities Companies.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: The last date for Fresh Admission for July 2024 cycle for all Programmes in online/ODL mode (except for Semester based and Certificate programmes) extends by IGNOU till20thSeptember 2024. The last date of July, 2024 Re-registration has also been approved (except for semester based programs) till 20thSeptember 2024, with late fee of Rs. 200-/ for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: Small Arms Range practice of IRBn personnel is scheduled to be carried out at PTS, Firing Range, Bird Line, Prothrapur on Sept.13, 17, 20 & 27, 2024 from 0500 hrs to 1500 hrs. The general public, especially the villagers/residents of Bird Line and Prothrapur area have been asked to keep themselves and their livestock away from the firing range during the mentioned date and time.
