Port Blair, Nov. 18: A total of 5,29,919 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2,81,603 (approx.). A total of 1,74,791 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 3551 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Nov. 17: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today demanded early appointment of Guest Lecturers in the Departments of History, Economics, Geography & Environment and Cooperative Management.

In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the Member of Parliament mentioned that due to non-appointment of Guest Lecturers in the Departments of History, Economics, Geography & Environment and Cooperative Management, the classes of these four Departments are not being conducted.

Port Blair, Nov. 17: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today informed the Chief Secretary that insulin injections are not available at GB Pant Hospital pharmacy and the diabetic patients are forced to buy Insulin injections from private shops, which is not only expensive but also beyond the reach of many Islanders.

Port Blair, Nov. 17: The villagers of Collinpur Panchayat today took to the street and blocked the road following the worst conditions of the road, which is a result of lack of attention by the A&N Administration. The protest was organised at Bengali Basti which was led by the Ex-UpAdhyaksh of Zilla Parishad South Andaman and Shri Balram Singh, social worker of the area.
