Port Blair, Nov. 14: The Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on Sunday visited Amrita Hospital, Shadipur and distributed free ration kits to 200 needy peoples whose life has been affected since the lockdown was imposed. The kits for distribution were provided by Mata Amritanandamayi often known as "Amma".

Port Blair, Nov. 14: On the occasion of Children’s Day on 14th November 2021, the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association organised a State level Junior & Sub Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championship 2021, sponsored by Non-IATA Airline Agents (Port Blair) at Hotel TSG Emerald, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair.
In the event, more than 90 participants took part in various categories of the game. Shri. R K Singh, State Project Officer, Samgara Siksha, Department of Education, Andaman & Nicobar Administration was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony, who had made the first Move on the top board to kick start the event.
