Port Blair, Nov. 14: On the occasion of Children’s Day on 14^th November 2021, the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association organised a State level Junior & Sub Junior (Open & Girls) Chess Championship 2021, sponsored by Non-IATA Airline Agents (Port Blair) at Hotel TSG Emerald, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair.

In the event, more than 90 participants took part in various categories of the game. Shri. R K Singh, State Project Officer, Samgara Siksha, Department of Education, Andaman & Nicobar Administration was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony, who had made the first Move on the top board to kick start the event.

Port Blair, Nov. 14: The Hindu Rashtra Shakti organised a meeting at Govindapur Village, Ward No. 3 under Basantipur Panchayat on Thursday at 3.30 PM. Nearly 55 HRS members and villagers attended the meeting.
