Port Blair, Jan 4: Transfers and postings of government servants has always remained a matter of concern for the staffs. Many get transferred to the remotest corners of the islands and are forced to stay away from their families for long. Considering the situation, many steps have been taken by the A&N Administration to fix tenures of postings in difficult and remote areas.

Port Blair, Jan 4: In an act of compassion, the ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder on Tuesday helped four victims of a road accident while on his way to Namunaghar.

The incident occurred at around 3:30 pm when Mr. Halder along with his party cadres were passing by Coffee Bageecha.

Port Blair, Jan 4: Services of natural vegetation are numerous like releasing oxygen, fixing carbon footprints, therapeutic value, bringing rains, arresting soil erosion, facilitating groundwater recharges, providing shelter to a variety of epiflora, fauna, etc. Yuva Bharat Samaj Seva Charitable Trust (YBSSCT) in collaboration with the Forest department organized a tree plantation drive on 03-01-2022 at Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram (VKA), Shadipur, Port Blair, wherein apart from the members, children from Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram also participated.
