Port Blair, Dec. 2: As per Indian Meteorological Department’s weather forecast, heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands on Dec. 4. Heavy rain (07-11 cm) & thundersquall (speed reaching 50-60 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Dec. 5. Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Dec. 6. In anticipation of formation of low pressure area, fishermen of Andaman & Nicobar coasts have been advised not to venture into the sea from Dec. 4 to Dec. 6.

Port Blair, Dec.2: The vessel MV Swaraj Dweep is expected to arrive at Port Blair on Dec.3, 2022 at 1200 hrs from Vizag. She has on board a total passenger of 198 adults and 2 infants. On arrival, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has demanded for construction of a Helipad for people of Harinagar, Swadesh Nagar, Betapur and Nimbudera Panchayats for immediate evacuation of critical patients and other emergency needs.
In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament said that during his recent visit to Middle Andaman a large number of residents of Billiground and nearby regions contacted him and pointed out that for nearly four Panchayats of nearby regions viz. Harinagar, Swadesh Nagar, Betapur and Nimbudera Panchayats, there is an urgent need to construct a Helipad for emergency cases.

Port Blair, Dec. 2: The Science Centre at Goodwill Estate, Corbyn’s Cove Road will be organizing a Special 3D show at 5 pm & 6 pm tomorrow (Dec.3) with entry fee of Rs.20/- per head. There will also be a ‘Bubble Show’ on Dec.3, 2022 at 5.30 pm. This is a fun filled show specially designed for all age group to enjoy with their kids. During the programme, the demonstrator will prepare varieties of bubbles right from tiny bubble to gaint bubble, children’s most favorite doraemon bubble to the cubic bubble caterpillar bubble, fire bubble & many more. The entry fee for the Bubble Show is Rs.10/- per head.
