Port Blair, May 20: During RAT conducted on 73 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Helipad 1passenger was tested with RAT and the report was negative. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 37 passengers, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 47 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RTPCR test was conducted at Haddo Wharf on 70 passengers who arrived from Vizag by the sailing of MV Campbell bay, the report is awaited.

Training Program Launched by Police Training School, Prothrapur

Port Blair, May 19: Police Training School, Prothrapur under the aegis of Capacity Building Commission & MHA has started organizing 03 days course on “Karmayogi Police – Custodians of Society” for Head Constables to Inspectors of District & Traffic Police of A&N Police from 09/05/2022 and valediction for the 3rd batch comprising of 30 participants was graced by Shri Neeraj Thakur, IPS DGP, A&N Islands on 19/05/2022.

Port Blair, May 19: A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President Shri. M.Vinod is attending 3-day long SATTE travel exhibition at Greater Noida.

SATTE is the biggest travel exhibition in the country and has entered its 30th year in 2022. AATO members are attending the exhibition as part of Andaman & Nicobar tourism delegation and individual stalls.

Port Blair, May 19: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar Administration to schedule a ship for Chennai via Nancowry and Campbell Bay, so that people who are planning to visit Chennai directly from Nancowry and Campbell Bay can avail the sailing.

Similarly, he has also requested to schedule similar sailing, back to Port Blair from Chennai via Campbell Bay and Nancowry so that the Islanders can return back to their respective Islands before reopening of School after Summer Vacation.
