International Women's Day is observed on 8th of March every year. This year, the celebration is under the theme "DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality" in order to recognize and celebrate the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education. This will facilitate in bridging the digital gender gap on economic and social inequalities and protecting the rights of women and girls especially in the event of digital violence against women.

I extend my heartfelt wishes to all women of Andaman and Nicobar Islands on International Women's Day.

This day is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the extraordinary achievements and contributions made by women to society, family, our Islands, our nation and the world.
