Port Blair, May 30: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,81,269 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,528 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 12,634 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 24867.

Port Blair, May 25: As part of the series of programmes under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi shall be interacting with the beneficiaries of 15 welfare schemes of the Central government from various states/UTs through virtual mode during the national-level programme to be held at Shimla on May 31, 2022.

Smti Mistry is a resident of Sitanagar, Diglipur. The award was presented to Smti Bulbul at New Delhi on 24th May 2022 at a function organised by the Dada Saheb Phalke Icon Award Films, managed by the Trustee Founder and Chairman, Shri Kalyanji Jana at Hotel Holiday Inn, New Delhi.

Port Blair, May 25: The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has identified Radhanagar Beach in Swaraj Dweep for Blue Flag Certification as Pilot beach in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

For the last two seasons i.e 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 the beach has fulfilled all the stringent criteria as prescribed for the certification. Based on the rigorous efforts of the Administration, the Radhanagar beach has retained the Blue Flag Certification.

Port Blair, May 25: As per the call given jointly by five Left Parties to observe All India Protest against Price Rise and Unemployment from 25th to 31st May, 2022, the CPI (M) in Andaman & Nicobar Islands will organize various programmes and campaign.
