Baratang, March 31: On March 29, 2023, ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair organised a field day on pulses in Nayagahr village of Nilambur Panchayat as part of the Cluster Front Line Demonstration (CFLD) programme, which is centrally sponsored by the NFSM scheme. The program's main objective is to enhance pulse production and productivity in our islands in sustainable manner.

Port Blair, March 31: Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) will be conducting A&N State U-17 Boys & Girls Chess Championship 2023 on 8^th & 9^th April 2023 at JNRM Auditorium Port Blair. The Championship will serve as selection tournament for the upcoming MPL 33^rd National U-17 Chess Championship–2023 scheduled to be held from 1^st May to 9^th May 2023 at Jalandhar, Punjab.

Port Blair, March 31: For the convenience of the visitors and to streamline the existing process, the online booking of tickets of visiting Cellular Jail Museums has been made functional by the Department of Art & Culture in association with SOVTECH, A&N Islands which will be implemented from April 16, 2023. The advance booking is permitted 30 days in advance at https://www.edistrictandaman.gov.in. The e-ticket is non-transferable and non-cancellable.
