Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of Mr. RM Sethuraman, aged 69 years, Proprietor Star Agencies from Pongy Chaung, Ward no. 06, who left for heavenly abode on 31.03.2023 at 9.50 AM at G.B.Pant Hospital. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to his bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Port Blair, March 29: Shri D. Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) Andaman and Nicobar State Organising Committee met the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration today (29.03.2023) at Secretariat and discussed with him various issues concerning the islanders. In a letter submitted to the Chief Secretary, he urged the Administration to stop the process of recruitment of teachers on contract basis against the vacant posts in the Education Department.

Port Blair, March 29: The Housing & Estate Department, Andaman and Nicobar Administration had developed Automated Allotment of Government Accommodation Application (AAGA Portal) through IT Department i.e. SOVTECH and the same was launched on 25/03/2021. It provides end to end solution with no manual intervention for allotment and an attempt has been made to make a paperless solution. It had built in feature of online verification by DDOs, Medical Department (for medical cases) and H&E Department for further verification.
