Port Blair, Aug 25: The Science Centre at Goodwill Estate, Corbyn’s Cove Road is organizing a Special 3D show tomorrow (Aug.26) at 5.30 pm & 6.10 pm and a ‘Bubble Show’ from 6.10 pm to 6.45 pm. The bubble show is a fun filled show specially designed for all age group to enjoy with their kids. During the programme, the demonstrator shall prepare varieties of bubbles right from tiny bubble to giant bubble, children’s most favorite Doraemon bubble to cubic bubble, caterpillar bubble, fire bubble & many more. The entry fee for 3D & Bubble Show is Rs. 20/- & Rs.10/- per head respectively.

Port Blair, Aug 24: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands to finalize the Circle Rate for Kerala Puram, VS Palli, and Smith Island Regions of North Andaman.

Highlighting a pressing concern raised by the residents of Kerala Puram, VS Palli, and Smith Island, particularly in the context of the pending finalization of the circle rate for these areas, the Member of Parliament mentioned that the circle rate for land in these three regions of North Andaman has not been determined yet.

New Delhi, Aug 24: The historic All India Joint Convention of Workers and Farmers held on 24th August 2023 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi was massive and full of determination to raise the pitch of their joint and coordinated agitations in the coming period. Jointly organised by the platform of Central Trade Unions (CTUs)/Sectoral Federations/Associations and Samyukta Kisan Morcha, the Convention assessed the adverse and destructive impact of the Union Government policies on the workers, farmers, common people in general and on the democratic, secular, harmonious living of our people.

Diglipur, Aug 24: Police Station Diglipur once again showed their mettle that, they are going tough against drug peddlers. Keeping sharp vigil over the antisocial activities under the jurisdiction, acting on a tip-off, a dedicated team from PS Diglipur led by Inspr K. Binoj, SHO PS Diglipur launched a targeted operation to apprehend the individual involved in the illegal drug trade. The team trapped the person namely Ram Krishna Poddar S/o Late Kalidas Poddar (47) yrs R/o Madhupur, Ward No.5, Diglipur and recovered 1.210 Kg of illicit ganja from his possession and cash Rs. 5,91,800/- (Rupees Five lakh ninety-one thousand eight hundred only).
