Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 10: The State Hub for Empowerment of Women (SHEW) under the Department of Social Welfare conducted a sensitization drive with the aim to promote girl child education under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ in collaboration with Prayas.
In this regard, the Department organized an event at Pathergudda Community Hall, today, which was attended by around 90 participants including general public, Mukhya Sevikas, Anganwadi workers and community members.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 10: The National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) has been taken up under the unique and innovative projects category of the Sagarmala Programme under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), Govt. of India to showcase India's rich and diverse Maritime Heritage. The project is being developed at Lothal, Gujarat by the Govt. of India.

Little Andaman, Jan. 10: The CD Block of Little Andaman organized a Block-Level Training Programme on ‘Building synergies between SHGs & PRIs for Community Development’ at Panchayat Samiti Hall, Little Andaman today. The event was conducted under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) and aimed to engage local officials, including EWRs, SHGs and CRPs.
