Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 29: The Andaman & Nicobar Police have made critical advances in the investigation into India’s largest-ever drug seizure. A staggering 6,016 kilograms of methamphetamine was recovered from six Myanmarese nationals in a meticulously planned operation of the Andaman & Nicobar Police in close coordination with the Indian Coast Guard, leading to arrest and seizure of Narco cartel members. As the probe unfolds, new and important findings are emerging, pointing to the scale and sophistication of the transnational drug network involved in this case.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 29: To ensure that the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act and Rules framed there under are being compiled with by the motor vehicle drivers, an enforcement drive was conducted by the Transport Department today in Sri Vijaya Puram. Enforcement team led by Dr. Jatinder Sohal, Director of Transport checked the motor vehicles plying on the road which included commercial as well as personal vehicles. Intention of the enforcement was mainly to sensitize the motor vehicle drivers towards total compliance to the motor vehicle laws in true spirit.

That on 26/11/2024, a complaint was lodged by Muthu Krishnan S/o Late V.R.Chandran (39)yrs R/o Tushnabad, reporting the theft of 10 gas cylinders from the LPG distribution truck of Priya Indane Company in Ram Nagar, Caddlegunj which was parked due to technical breakdown. The offender had broken the lock of the back-side compartment of truck and stole 10 gas cylinders from the stock of 324 empty cylinders.
