Port Blair, Dec. 2: The Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair, District 329 has been organising programs through Doordarshan for women and children since October 2020. The following programs organised by the club include:
1.) "Making Value through an Organic and Creative Lifestyle" Live at Doordarshan, which is telecast every Monday at 5.00 pm. This includes how children can use a cellphone to click good pictures at their leisure time. Mentor-Pallavi Gupta

New Delhi, Dec. 2: The School of Military Affairs, Strategy and Logistics, Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar organized an Expert lecture by Lt Gen Dr Subrata Saha (Veteran), Dean of the School of Military Affairs, Strategy and Logistics, RRU, Member of the National Security Advisory Board and former Deputy Chief of the Army Staff. Port Blair, Nov. 23: Reiterating jointness in operations and mutual sharing of oceanographic information in IOR, Indian Coast Guard safely handed over ‘Deep Ocean Tsunami Detection Buoy’deployed by Thailand's National Disaster Warning Centre (NDWC) in the Bay of Bengal to Thai vessel off Diglipur todate 23 Nov 20.

Port Blair, Nov. 23: In a swift sea–air coordinated operation on 22 Nov 20, ICG Ship connected tow to tanker MT Anasthasia-1 drifting dangerously towards Katchall Island and commenced towing to safe waters. The vessel enroute to Dubai with 24 crew onboard experienced total power failure since 19 Nov 20 and threatened the bio-sensitive ecology of pristine Nicobar islands as the tanker had approximately 910 MT of bunker fuel.
