Port Blair, Aug 17: CPI (M) Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee has decided to conduct a Party Fund Collection for raising a fund for the proper running of the party from 16th August to 15th September, 2022 throughout Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Shri Pronob Banerjee, senior leader inaugurated the Party Fund Collection at Port Blair by paying an amount to Party Fund. On the occasion, Shri SP Kalairajan, CPI (M) State Organising Committee Member also donated an amount to the Party Fund.

Port Blair, Aug 17: The team of Revenue field functionaries carried out inspection of the road between Bhathubasti and Sippighat, where from several complaints were received as regards congestion of roads owing to dumping of construction materials and debris resulting in hindrance to free flow of vehicular movement besides inconvenience to the commuters. Roadside dumping of such building materials and threat to lives of pedestrians.

Port Blair, Aug 17: Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated at Chinmaya Mission Port Blair on August 19, 2022. A Fancy dress competition titled “Different moods of Lord Krishna” will be held from 3 pm onwards at Mission Auditorium. Shri Krishna Janmotsav will be celebrated from 9 pm onwards, which include Bhajan, Satsang and Arati at Midnight at 12 am.
